The family-run charm welcomed us with a warm smile and a refreshing welcome drink that set the tone for our stay. The traditional Bavarian cuisine in the cosy restaurant was a highlight, especially the schnitzel that delighted my taste buds and made for a perfect dinner with my travel companion. Our room offered a beautiful view, a spacious seating area, and the comfort of a private bathroom-ideal for unwinding after our daily adventures exploring nearby lakes and hiking trails. We savoured the rich breakfast each morning, fueling us with the energy needed for our explorations. With free parking and a peaceful atmosphere, Gasthaus Hingerl is truly a gem for anyone looking to experience authentic rural Bavaria, just a short drive from the stunning Chiemsee lake.
